In accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-29-20, the Madera County Transportation Commission (MCTC) Board Room will be closed, and the Policy Board Members and staff will be participating in this meeting via GoToWebinar. In the interest of maintaining appropriate social distancing measures, members of the public may participate in the meeting electronically and shall have the right to observe and offer public comment during the meeting.

UNMET TRANSIT NEEDS PUBLIC COMMENT:

This year's Unmet Transit Needs Hearing will take place Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Due to COVID-19 and "Shelter-in-Place" orders, this hearing will be held via GoToWebinar. 

MCTC Staff strongly encourages you to submit your comment via email, snail mail, telephone, or online survey. It is recommended to have a spokesperson for those that may have similar comments. A Spanish translator will also be provided for this portion of the meeting, if needed. Your comments will be read directly to the Board during the public hearing item to ensure your voice is heard so it is important to submit your comments by the due date/time.

Your testimony should be as specific as possible with regard to those citizens, not currently being served by transit, the request type and amount of transit service, the geographic area in which service is needed, and any other supporting evidence of information which will help in evaluating the "reasonableness" of the requested service.
